Hi pals!

Happy new year and happy Chinese new year (soon)! I’m excited to announce the opening of my solo exhibition at The Bows! It opens February 13th and ends May 9th 2026. Please come to the opening, there will be snacks and drinks and all the work I’ve made over the last year!!

I have some new flash below! The pricing is hourly ($140/h), if you need a quote, I can give one to you once you submit a booking form with placement and size info. These designs are also all unique, not repeatable—preferably done in black and grey ink

I think alot of these would be lovely wrapped around things, like e. would be cool on the top of a shoulder, or around the shin. a. could be cool as a wrist wrap or going vertically down the side of the ribs. e. could definitely wrap a bit around a joint like the wrist or ankle bone. I imagine d. gliding down the bicep with the flowers going above an elbow or ditch. g & h would be sweet to do a symmetrical minis. but the world is our oyster for placement.

either of these would be fun BIG!

Custom Tattoos

I’m still accepting custom tattoo ideas! Just a reminder that the process takes some time, and some back and forth to make sure we are on the same page for your idea!

• Guidelines:

  • I accept most ideas, preference right now is for ideas that allow me to use my artistic style. I love doing animals, ornamental, layered, and textured things! I’m happy to draw custom versions of previous flash too.

  • I do not accept images of other peoples work, tattoos or art. You can send me images of your own drawings, my drawings/flash, photographs etc. but I won’t be copying or stealing other artists work!

    • Pricing

      • Custom rate is a nonrefundable $100 drawing fee that does not go towards the final cost. $75 deposit required for booking an appointment after I confirm the design with you, this will go towards the final cost.

        • designs are sent ahead of time via email for feedback and edits

      • Freehand rate is a nonrefundable $50 deposit that does not go towards the final cost, the remaining is charged hourly—only for the tattoo time where the needle is touching skin.

        • there are no designs sent over email ahead of the appointment

Keychains!

Lauren, From Tree To Sea ceramics asked me to help celebrate Chinese New Year with her! I made a bunch of lucky knot keychains with hand painted beads, vintage buttons and horse charms—obviously! I’m so honoured to collaborate with her and I secretly want to keep all the keychains… but these will be released with her CNY ceramics collection in Feb—keep an eye out for them!! 🐴⭐️

Solo Show

Like I said earlier, my solo exhibition opens at The Bows on February 13th from 6-9pm, I will be there along with snacks, drinks, and awesome people—hopefully including YOU! If you’re unable to make the opening, that’s fine….the show is up until May 9th :)

Cat Tax

Surprise guests this month, Edward the cat and Holly the puppy!

A few more notes… as we know social media is a rough place, so I’ll probably only be releasing flash here for the foreseeable future. If you like what I do, feel free to forward these newsletters to your friends, I greatly appreciate all your support!

I also know that funds are low for a lot of us. Tattoos are a luxury but they are also joy and resistance. I’m generally pretty happy to fit tattoos into your budget as long as I can afford supplies and rent, so don’t feel shy about filling out the budget line in the booking form, we can work something out. I’m also happy to trade tattoos for art, custom knits and textiles, other hand made goods, new skills (access to ceramic studios, glass working? idk!) let me know what you can trade and we can go from there! Finally, if you only have enough budgeted for the tattoo but wish to tip me, obviously I love cash but I will accept anything you think I’d like as a tip…like trinkets, hand made goods, etc. but no pressure to tip. 🧧
